A Blast from the Past

Right now art is a huge part of my life. I haven't had time to do a photo inventory of my new art, but here's some from 2010-2011. I'm opening an art shop on etsy so stay tuned for details. :)

This is a watercolor I did when I was 15, possibly my 3rd real watercolor, a good basis in drawing helped a lot. Got a blue ribbon in the local fair.

Can you tell I was into owls in 2011? These little dudes (they ended up a little squatter in later versions) were my handmade Christmas gifts in 2011.

*cringes* my art in 2010 on the right and my drawing in 2011 on the left.  About seven months apart. Bethany Hamilton is a huge inspiration to me! The drawing (on the right) took over 28 hours the one on the left... an hour? Shows what you can do with a lot of practice in a short amount of time.

Aslan! Not really, just a lion. :) I was obsessed with Narnia as a child though. (still secretly am ;) )

And a Zebra based on a glass piece I saw in an art gallery. Which lead me into...

I took a trip to Africa in the summer of 2012. If you want to see some awesome pictures and read some stories head over to MeMyFamilyandAfrica!
